Here follows an abstract of mail I tried unsuccessfully to send via normal means

Short answer , no . This mail the first contact from you.
As I’ve now bought a copy of your basics book now and your downloads are probably abstracts of it, it is no longer a problem for me.
Ps ….. really great book, well illustrated clearly explained. Congratulations.
Pps … have you a page or two on hydraulic drives?

Jess, thanks for posting the comment and your kind words about the book! Your support for the project is much appreciated. I’ve also replied to you by email to be sure you receive word from me.

So far, the only information I have about hydraulics will be in manuals for hydraulic transmissions. However, I will be covering this in detail in the next book in the MDB series – How Things Work, Installation Guidelines and a DIY Diesel Survey. I’m working on the book now and plan to complete by the end of this year – 400 pages!
